Option 1: Download the installer

Download the package, verify it, and run it. Setup supports per-user installation without requiring administrator rights.

If the download stops, retry this same official link; browsers with HTTP range support may resume, otherwise restart. Never run a partial file. Then verify the exact SHA-256 below before running it.

Option 2: Install and update with Scoop

If Scoop is already installed, add the official UtiliVera bucket once, then install the app with a short package name:

scoop install utilivera/utilivera-image

The bucket is a self-hosted read-only Git repository. Scoop downloads the same immutable 0.8.1 installer, checks its SHA-256 before installation, and runs the verified Inno Setup package silently.

What Windows may show

Version 0.8.1 is not yet code-signed. Windows may display a reputation warning for a newly downloaded executable. This is disclosed rather than hidden: download only from utilivera.com, verify the checksum above, and compare it with the frozen release record.

Remove or update

Running 0.8.1 over 0.8.0 upgrades in place and preserves user settings. Uninstall from Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps → UtiliVera Image. For Scoop, use scoop update utilivera-image to update and scoop uninstall utilivera-image to remove the app. The normal uninstaller preserves user-created settings and outputs.
