Option 1: Download the portable app

No installer, account, subscription, or cloud upload is required. Download the file, verify it, and run it from any folder you control.

Option 2: Install and update with Scoop

If Scoop is already installed, add the official UtiliVera bucket once, then install the app with a short package name:

scoop bucket add utilivera https://utilivera.com/scoop-bucket.git
scoop install utilivera/utilivera-image

The bucket is a self-hosted read-only Git repository. Scoop downloads the same immutable 0.8.0 executable, checks its SHA-256 before installation, and creates a UtiliVera Image Start menu shortcut and command shim.

What Windows may show

Version 0.8.0 is not yet code-signed. Windows may display a reputation warning for a newly downloaded executable. This is disclosed rather than hidden: download only from utilivera.com, verify the checksum above, and compare it with the frozen release record.

Remove or update

The direct-download edition is portable: close it and delete the EXE when you no longer need it. For Scoop, use scoop update utilivera-image to update, scoop uninstall utilivera-image to remove the app, and scoop bucket rm utilivera only if you also want to remove the UtiliVera package source.
